The first Sustainable & Inclusive idea to help the Environment & Hearing Impaired people With billions of devices ending up in landfills every year, smartphone upgrades represent a serious environmental issue. Only a small amount of e-waste is recycled, despite the repurposing potential of common parts found in all models. So, during 2 years, we developed an innovative and sustainable project to boost inclusion and accessibility while helping reduce electronic waste. We repurposed old phones, reassembling them into new devices that improve hearing capacity. The STC (Saudi Telecom) Hearing Trade blueprints are open source, 100% accesible to any organization or manufacturer in the world to continue helping the world.
